Mike Murray, RDN, LDN, CISSN
Mike has been obsessed with optimizing body composition and sports performance for the better part of a decade. This stems from his rich athletic history participating in a variety of sports.
Outside of coaching other athletes in these endeavors, Mike has competed in several powerlifting events. He holds a state championship as a junior competitor and has medaled at a regional event. At this point in time, he dedicates his time to improving as a bodybuilder.
For the first half of his academic career, Mike earned an associate degree in exercise science and graduated with honors while working as a certified personal trainer. He then moved on to La Salle University where he completed a bachelor’s in nutrition and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Following this degree, he completed a dietetic internship with a a concentration in sports nutrition. As part of this opportunity, he spent 240 hours working alongside the sports dietitians for the University of Maryland. He also gained experience working with a vast array of populations through his clinical and community rotations.
After passing his registered dietitian exam, Mike moved on to obtain the CISSN credential, which means he is a certified sports nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
